Riso quirks

Mis-alignment, smudging and colour variation come with the territory of Riso printing. While we try our best to make sure things come out as close to perfect as we can, ultimately the final decisions lie with the Riso Gods. So if you are looking for a super clean, super consistent and super accurate printing method, Riso might not be the way to go.

Minimum Quantities

Risograph machines are great for a whole lotta things, but printing small batches isn’t really one of them. They are made for fast, high volume printing so the more you make, the more economical it becomes! Because of this, we have minimum quantities to limit waste while also meeting your needs.

Printed Proofs

Like we said above, the Riso isn’t really good at doing one-offs. So we don’t generally offer printed proofs before a project run. However if you really, really want one they can be done at $35 per sheet.

Digital Proofs are free and available upon request! While this isn’t going to be 100% accurate for colour and texture, it will give you a good idea of how things will look.
