If you’ve ever wanted to try out flip book animation, join us for this introductory class!

In this workshop you will learn how to turn a basic animation into a Riso flip book. You will be guided through the fundamentals of Risograph printing and learn how to prepare a video file for print. We will go over how to output frames, automate a contact sheet as well as file set-up, including colour separations. These contact sheets will then be printed on the Riso and assembled into 1” flip book.

We will have 4 sample animations for you to choose from and customize by choosing your own colour palette.

Bring in your own 36 frame animation to be printed

At the end of the night, you will walk away with 10 copies of your very own Riso Flip Book.

Supplies needed:

• Laptop (with adobe suit installed)
