Zine 101 + Risograph Workshop
May 2nd, 2026 // SATURDAY // 3-6P
@ FLUORO PRESS, 2414 Main Street
Join us for an intimate, hands-on introduction to DIY publishing, where you’ll learn to design, print, and assemble your own zine from start to finish. In this 3-hour session, participants will explore zine culture and Risograph printing, develop ideas through storyboarding, and produce a 2-colour, 8-page zine—complete with a 20-copy print run to take home or trade. With all materials provided and a small group setting, this workshop offers focused guidance and plenty of press time.
As a bonus, participants are invited to an optional day trip on April 30th, Thursday, at 6PM to the Vancouver Public Library. It’s a field trip exploring Vancouver’s DIY print scene, plus a digital goodie bag packed with templates, resources, and local zine directories to keep your practice rolling long after the ink dries. More details after you sign up!
